www.education.com/topic/school-bullying-teasing provides the latest in bullying research conducted by world-renowed experts and 10 actions parents can take to help reduce bullying. This is, by far, the most comprehensive website we have seen, though the others listed are also outstanding. www.education.com/topic/school-bullying is also excellent.

www.BullyingInfo.org is a project of the Interagency Working Group on Youth Programs (IWGYP). It’s focus is providing tools and resources for youth, parents, teachers and mental health providers to prevent and address bullying. www.BullyingInfo.org partners with www.StopBullyingNow.hrsa.gov, another excellent resource on bullying. In fact, StopBullyingNow! is a national anti-bullying campaign. The site gives valuable advice for both children and adults about bullying and prevention. In the adult section is descriptive material about cyberbullying and how a person starts an anti-bullying campaign. The tips sheet in the adult section gives important information and lists its references.

www.stopbullying.gov/index/html/ is a comprehensive federal website featuring special sections for kids, teens, young adults, parents, educators, and helpful tips for the community. Each section has sub-sections addressing needs and concerns for each age group.

www.bully.org features excellent anti-bullying resources. It also has anti-bullying events for bullies and bullying. Young people are able to apply online for November’s 2011 National Anti-Bullying Conference for Young People. This is a free conference for young people.

http://www.surveillance-video.com/home-school-safety-for-kids.html   This site teaches personal safety for children, tweens, and teenagers.  It is a collection of resources and material that can be used in the classroom to teach students about safety in many different areas within their home or school so that they will learn how to avoid dangerous situations or unnecessary accidents in both places.

www.mattepling.com A website to honor Matt Epling who committed suicide after being bullied relentlessly. This website is a valuable aid for anyone in Michigan interested in anti-bullying legislation and how to achieve it. Other valuable, helpful information is included.

www.bullypolice.org Bully police is an all volunteer organization that monitors various states' bullying legislation efforts. Michigan receives a F for its lack of anti-bullying legislation. Other helpful bullying information is also included, among it links to other bullying resources. Miss Florida 2010, herself the victim of severe bullying, is the USA National Media Spokeswoman. Her platform is "Stop Bullying Now."

www.TheTrevorProject.org Founded in l998, The Trevor Project is the leading national organization focused on crises and suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth. Every day it saves young lives through its free and confidential lifeline, in-school workshops, educational materials, online resources and advocacy.

www.balanceeducationalservices.com provides services for educators, parents, students and unions. It features Mike Dreiblatt, a former teacher, who is an expert in bullying and violence prevention. He provides workshops and has written such books as "How to Stop Bullying and Social Aggression," an excellent resource. Click on Bullying Prevention and Character Formation near the top right side of the website.

www.GetNetWise.org GetNetWise is a public service of internet corporations and public interest organizations that wants Internet users to be just "one click away" from the resources they need to make informed decisions about their and their family’s use of the Internet. Thus, it helps both parents and children learn how to stay safer online.

www.glsen.org The gay, lesbian and straight education network lists anti-bullying resources (currently, top of center column) and tells what you can do, including claiming your rights. It features resources on what you can do to make your school safe for LGBT youth. It also includes tools and tips for educators, students and supporters.

www.ItGetsBetter.org - thousands of videos submitted by people across the country to inspire and encourage LBGT youth who are struggling.  You can watch more videos at www.ItGetsBetter.org which includes a powerful pledge.
